Anyone had/seen issues with the fuel systems on the 24 6.6L Duramaxs?
My dad has a 24' model with 6500 miles.. it's in the shop with the entire fuel system tore down due to metal found. It's been there 3 weeks and they can't get all the parts... from what he said, this part was the one they are...
Great news for the 3.0L Platform.. GM announced the refreshed Tahoe and Suburban will get the 3.0L Duramax diesel. We're assuming the Yukon and XL will follow as they are shown off very soon.
Well I noticed it yesterday on my driveway.. got under the truck and it look like it was the filter, but couldn't really tell. Took it into the dealer today and they said "oil pan gasket" likely.. from my research, it's likely the front seal as well.. I'm right at 42K miles, so I should be...
We know GM has super cruise for the higher trim packages, but I come across a post this morning on a Facebook group about someone using this 3rd party software on their 2021.

I know a friend that used this on a his newer sedan but wasn't aware they were compatible for the...
The manual states to change the transmission fluid and filter at 45K... who's done it? Approximate cost?
I'm at 39K right now.. it just seems early in comparison to all of my past trucks..
I'll be the first to admit, I don't change the oil myself on this truck. I simply buy the oil and filter from Rock Auto and take it to my local lube shop. I give them 30 bucks and call it a day.
I went a few days ago and he told me the plug was rounded off and needed a new one. That's funny...
Changed my fuel filter yesterday. Truck has almost 36K miles on it. Overall, it wasn't terrible. I *Think I have about 20K on this one.. I need to go back and find my notes to see.
It's sad to see GM is not on this list (yet). Ironically, they faced a lot of backlash over the past few weeks when GM announced they would phase out Apple CarPlay in future EV's and roll their own system. I'm hoping they have noticed the customer base was pretty unhappy over that position and...
Announced today from GM, the 2024 Silverado LR2 Trim Package can finally get the 3.0L Duramax engine. Before, the only option was the 6.2L Engine.
Glad to see GM expanding the 3.0L Duramax into other trim packages. I love the tough look personally of the ZR2!
I finally bit the bullet this week and installed the bilstein 5100's all around on my RST trim truck. I set the front at 2" ( 1 down from max ) and then put in a 1" rear block to help the overall stance. Overall I'm pleased. I still have the stock size tires on the truck..
I'm going to debate a...
..and now the tuners are releasing their tuning with the package.
PPEI says they will have tuning released on their website this afternoon. Interesting in seeing pricing.
Interesting tweet this morning from a Automotive News reporter:
Two things stand out, "Low Volume" and "No replacement in the works".
Thoughts? I always though the Titan's interior was one of the worst, but I did see a number of them in my area.
