Check engine light 10k

I just turned 10,000 miles and noticed a check engine light pop on. Is this a general maintenance light or something else? I checked the manual and there isn’t anything in the maintenance schedule that lands on 10,000. Plan on contacting the dealer tomorrow morning (all dealers closed Sundays in MN), but of course I leave ina fishing trip this coming Thursday. Thanks in advance.

Call onstar and get the code, then post it back. They should give you a report on what engine code that triggered.

I would almost bet it's an emissions code.

Thanks. Additional note is that the remote start isn’t working, either.

The remote start is disabled when there’s a CEL. GM’s way of helping us.

Get a scan tool to check the codes yourself. I’ve heard on star is hit or miss on being able to verify codes. I’ve let my on star expire but have an iDash mounted so I can read them myself. Hard to say what will pop up as there have been so many references in other threads on the net.
