Looks like we have our first numbers courtesy of a owners manual from a Canadian dealer.

According to these screenshots, the 3.0-liter Duramax engine available in the Sierra produces 282 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque. GM also seems to claim fuel economy of 28 mpg on the highway. However, no official figures are available from the EPA yet. The Duramax engine comes mated to GM’s 10-speed automatic transmission.
By comparison, we know Ford’s 3.0-liter PowerStroke diesel manages 250 horsepower and 440 lb-ft of torque. FCA’s EcoDiesel engine, at least in its last available form, manages 240 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. As far as fuel economy is concerned, the 2018 F-150 3.0-liter diesel 4×2 gets up to 30 mpg on the highway.
