I did the same thing. 5100's set 1 down from the top. From the stuff I've read that seems like the max recommended. Too early yet to say if I'll have any problems.
Mine are pretty worn so was thinking of going with the 275 65 20 to get a little taller. From what I've read they should fit. Mine just has the Bilstein 5100s to level it, non AT4. Was going to try the Perelli Scorpion AT plus. Looking for winter traction without going to a true winter tire
I had the issue where it wouldn't start on the 2nd try and had to disconnect/reconnect the battery to get it going. Brought it in a few times and it took the dealer connecting with GM and they had them reprogram the FOBs in a specific way or something as it was something with the FOBs not...
I would totally agree. The looks are 100% better and I prefer the ride better. Maybe not the best comparison but like comparing a Buick to a Pontiac. If you like the softness of a Buick, keep the Ranchos. If you prefer the sportier ride of a Pontiac, go get the Bilsteins. Neither are terribly...
I like the Roadmaster. I didn't want to deal with bags airing them up and down and didn't want to try to mount a compressor somewhere. These gave me enough for what I was looking for and had the added benefit of stiffening up the rear a little unloaded to help out the Ranchos. Still may swap...
Lookin good. I am actually having those put on tomorrow morning. Asked for the same position #5. I'm not doing a block but I have the Roadmaster active suspension in the back and that lifted it a little so it should have a slight rake still when finished. I was going to try to stay with the...
I have a 20 but I thought I had an issue with the battery that turned out it wasn't the battery. I went to start after work and it did nothing like it didn't have enough power to start. Battery ended up being replaced but it ended up doing it again after a long drive so that time I knew it...
Called banks and they said it's a known thing and in their support materials. Haven't verified that but their only suggestion was to unplug it when it's going to run the tests. Problem is I never know when onstar is going to do that. The emails haven't been on the same day every month. I guess...
Well it happened again on the next onstart diagnostic email. I'll try to call Banks and see what their thoughts are. Not a real big deal but a little wierd why it's happening to me but others have things plugged in and don't have the trouble.
Well I splurged and bought the idash. Funny thing that just happened with it, I got my last onstar diagnostic report and it couldn't give me any of the diagnostic information. It says "we are unable to successfully complete a diagnostic test. The issue may be caused by an aftermarket device...
I ended up putting the Roadmaster active suspension on my elevation X31 and like it. It did raise the rear a bit so put more rake in it but only stiffened it up empty so it rides well and not like a 70's cadillac. Now just need to put the billstiens in the front to get it a little more level...
It's all part of the plan to push the so called "clean" electric. Good luck being able to travel over 100 miles from your house. Just another way to lock people down.
I have the dealer version of the BAK revolver X2 which is an aluminum roll up cover. So far I like it but it does have some trade offs.
Pros
Security of a locking aluminum cover but still rolls up vs folding
Sits very flush, does not stick up at all
Looks great
Cons
Stiff to roll up in winter
It...
