    Antifreeze leak from dealership

..and this is why dealerships are called stealerships. When you pull an entire motor, how can you not touch that pipe for the cooling system? Like @gemarsh said above, get some pictures, but I would fight this one.

    Finding independent shop

Hopefully some Texas folks chime in.. I know even in my area (Middle TN) I don't really know of any that are familiar with this motor. Sadly I think we're finally getting to the age now where mileage is a bit higher and people aren't as bound to the dealers.

So new but not so new

Welcome! My last HD was a 2011 Duramax, loved that truck. As time went on I needed something easier on the fuel and easier to park in the city, so the half ton duramax fit my needs perfect. My wife has a 2022 Tahoe that we purchased during covid, but the Duramax was on my wish list for that as...

    Regen Noise or something else?

Extended warranty paid for itself there. I've never bought one, but sometimes it does work out.

    Bigger fuel tank

I've never heard of any fuel gauge issues personally. I just fill mine up until the nozzle clicks, and I hang it up. Never a problem here. Welcome to the forum!

From South Central Florida - Old 6.6, new 3.0

231K is good use for sure! Congrats on the 3.0L.. overall, these are great trucks. If I had to bet on longevity I would still lean the 6.6, but that's not to say the 3.0L isn't good. Just as not as well tested at the big ones.

    Hi New from Cleveland

Welcome! You'll love the 3.0L if you do go that direction. It's probably the smoothest powertrain I've ever owned.

    Newbie

Welcome!! It's hard to beat this powertrain for the efficiency and just how smooth it is for a diesel. 27 off the bat is great as well!

    2027 GMC Sierra

I posted the 2027 Silverado a few days ago, and now GMC has released the 2027 Sierra! https://www.gmc.com/future-vehicles/2027-next-generation-sierra-1500 I personally love the direction for both trucks.. I think both look excellent and well refined. I can't wait to see the power numbers from...
