Mine started working in spurts after about a year of ownership, then stopped completely. I got rear ended and it started working again for awhile, lol. Now it's back to not working.
The tech said it probably wouldn't have been a problem if the bumper was pushed forward. In this case, it might have been pushed forward, but it was mostly pushed downward toward the pavement. I still can't believe it did that to the frame when I ran back across these pics recently.
Anybody else have this happen? I was rear-ended at a slow enough speed as not to deploy any airbags in my vehicle or the Chevy Traverse that hit me. I was a little sore the next day. No big deal. However, not a happy camper since the truck was new. I was pushed into the car in front of me...

Was the difference in mileage observed on the cluster mpg display or by calculating miles driven by gallons used? I'm hesitant to go by what the cluster display says. I drove an 1,800 mile round trip. The cluster display said 24.5 (I was disappointed in seeing this). However, dividing the...
That is true if the engine has been off for a substantial amount of time and the oil all drips back into the pan. I don't think oil has much time to drip down if the engine is off for 30 or so seconds at a time. All the internals are still pretty well coated. I'd be more worried about wear...
Haha, everything shuts down here. I just had a 4 day weekend from the ice and snow we got.
I remember seeing a news report of 140+ car crashes in some Northern state last year. I laughed and figured they must have gotten some of that Texas ice.
One thing about the diesel is it doesn't start blowing heat for awhile. Heated seats keep you nice and warm until the engine temp comes up on those 20 degree mornings.
