Will be leaving this post as chevy can't figure out the 3.73 gears and degrees system issue. Is a super truck but can't use it and haven't for 4 months... chevy tells me 4 to 6 months... not they are buying it back... worst thing I ever did was try this diesel...

That's because they don't tell you that you need the MAX Towing package

There a currently 20 i know of in ND. All with Max Towing gears... 3.73.. it is a math error in the computer and they can't figure it out. I am beyond sad...

And I have had 7 dealerships take a swing at fixing my truck but 1300 miles on it to get it fixed with zero positive outcome....

GM has no fix for my DEF issue so now I will be ordering a gas truck.. the 3.0 has alot of potential but I need a truck some time the next year to use as a truck... great car until they get the def calculation fixed.

You do have to have MAX tow.. there were a few that took it as engine only. Confusing that 5th wheel towing is less then bumper tow but in talking to with GM engineer you can tow behind 5th wheel and they have taken this into account with rating.

It is a 2024 with LZO motor. Max Towing Package. 10 speed trans. Loved to truck first 1200 miles now regretting my decision on this truck. 495 lb ft of torque was the right fit for my needs and with 3.73 gears getting 26.8 mpg on highway mileage is amazing.. only way others get that mileage is...

Any help to get my truck to be used ad a truck would be great. Purchased this diesel because of warranty and mileage towing as I realy don't tow over 10k ever.

Been fighting with GM on DEF system shutong truck down stateing DEF empty with 4.5 gal in the def tank.. been 120 days of not being able to use the truck for anything as if def Guage goes past 7/8 tank it goes into shut down mode towing or not... I fill 2 to 3 cups of def to tow 140 miles but if...

I had max towing package. I tow 8000 5th wheel in ND just fine. If GM can fix the DEF issue. I also have towed 12,000 in dump trailer with ease. Rating on paper 8900 lbs 5th wheel and 13100 lbs bumper.

Gm said there is no fix but dealership gave me the truck back stating don't drive it if you don't feel comfortable you will get home.. other local dealer said drive it till it quits and call GM to get you..... it has been 120 days.... no fix.. Worst purchase of my life..

I have been fighting this since May 24 with no fix. I just don't drive my truck now as I can't trust it will get me home.
