2020 Silverado 3.0 Duramax LTZ 2wd

Something odd happens when I start my truck. It turns the ringer volume down on my cell phone. If I don’t remember to turn it up when I shut the truck off I miss calls. Anyone else had this problem? I apologize, it’s more of a silverado problem than a 3.0 diesel problem.

Welcome! My father runs a 2020 Silverado Duramax and he's not had this problem.. first I've heard of it actually.

I was told I had to adjust ringer volume with the infotainment system and that would tie into the cell phone ringer volume. I tried this to no effect. As soon as you start your truck and it blue tooth’s your phone, you will see it turn the volume down. Turn your phone up manually and in 10-15 seconds the infotainment system will turn it back down.
