I had a 2020 1500 SLT with a 3.0. Traded it in on a smaller truck for work. (Total mistake). Then went the opposite direction after the Frontier with only 34,500 miles needed 2 rotors replaced and 2 turned, a new pinion gasket, the AC compressor replaced and a few other things done. I ended up with a 2024 2500 AT4. Nice truck if you need it, but too much truck for work. So today I found a 2025 GMC 1500 SLT with the 3.0 and the Max Trailering package on it. It’s the same color as my AT4 and it has 95% of the same accessories. It was actually a custom ordered truck that someone backed out of. It’s still on the train and should be here in a week or so. Really looking forward to a smaller truck and much better fuel mileage!

This one doesn’t have a sunroof (of which I probably opened 3 or 4 times on my old 2500), heads up display (which doesn’t work worth a crap during a bright day and you wear polarized sunglasses), the camera mirror (which sounded like a good idea but with my old eyes it takes a brief second to go from focusing down the road to focusing on a screen less than 2 feet from you so it was something I never used) or the truck bed camera. Other than that it has everything my old truck did, and it’s the same color. I think this truck doesn’t have the Technology Package annd the sunroof, saving me a couple thousand dollars on items I never used, score! This truck also has the Max Trailering Package on it. Only have 65 miles but the fuel mileage is pretty much twice what the 2500 was getting in town and 10-12+ more MPG on the highway. Compared to the 2500 this thing feels so much tighter. The brakes are a ton better and the steering is so much more responsive. Yes I understand it’s the difference between the basic suspension and the heavy duty suspension and the sheer weight difference. I just picked her up yesterday so today she gets the center console safe installed, and loaded up for work tomorrow.

Looks great.. I agree on your first points.. Sunroof is overrated and it's not a must have by any means for me. Plus you got one of the best colors GM has made :D ..

I agree about the color. Same color I had on my 2500 and really only one I REALLY Liked. So when I searched for one this color with the 3.0 and Max Trailering package there was only 1 listed in 24,xxx vehicles on GM's website at that time. It was a special order that someone backed out of. So I grabbed it as soon as I could!
