The Shift to Park is a common problem. gm uses a cheap micro switch that fails. It can be flicked by put your finger in the shifter hole. The micro switch isn't a serviceable item. Who changes your oil?
$99.66 for a 6.6 is CHEAP! Filter and oil for the 3.0 will run you $80. Then labor, it's not bad @ $99.- gemarsh
