Likely not, but the dealer also drives that conversation a lot it seems. However, If you have a catastrophic issue don't be alarmed if GM rep comes down and points to that, when in fact it's 99.9% chance the part/mod has nothing to do with the failure.

I was a heavy user of that on my 06 LBZ Duramax.. for some reason, I just stopped using it. I can't say it help me, but I can't say it hurt me either.

So many variables with fuel mileage.. If you're getting 25 that's acceptable in my opinion. As always, your results may vary.

Good luck with that. GM should make it right, but they will fight you with everything they have to not do it.

That stinks.. It's crazy a business (modern dealership) can only have one diesel mechanic.
