The coldest it's been here in likely 50+ years. Windchill has been negative 5 to 10 all night into today. My truck stays outside sadly so we'll see how she does later with a cold start.

Thankfully in my area we never saw any issues!

Any kind of delete is going to likely throw codes, and with no tuning, that's not going to be a good day.

Very nice! I agree.. I bought my RST right in the middle of Covid, used a supplier discount and paid about 4 grand under sticker so it worked out for me.

I have the same one. I'm using Mr Pink still with good success. Foam is nice and thick. I need to post some updated pictures with the new cannon.. I'll try and grab some soon!

GM does have the factory trail boss/at4 kit you can buy.. and it does come with CV shafts.

I know for a fact GM warranties CV axles. I would maybe fight that one..

I will say this, I've been around trucks after this has happen and never had any issues after the fact.. but, with this being a brand new truck it's a tough spot. If the conversion company can offer some kind of assurance (I'm not sure how that would even look) it would make me feel better about...

Agreed, and it will only get harder. Like you said, it likely becomes a huge liability for "tuners" to even touch these.. Imagine a Super Cruise enabled truck runs over someone, and GM finds out it's been "Tuned", you bet they pass the buck on to the 3rd party.

Those are tough to find. I would keep pressuring the dealer to find the problem. I have a bad squeak myself in the rear end somewhere I'm trying to pin point.

I've heard a Duramax LML (15 year model) run on straight gas for 1 mile, and man, that is not a sound you want to hear. It sounded like it was running on rocks.

As always, the dealer has to provide the failure was related to the modification. Generally, it's a fight and something I would try to avoid in general unless the aftermarket product is just THAT much better. My $.02

That's a run of bad luck for sure. Let us know what the dealer says... oil consumption has been an issues for some users reported here.
