That could be… Idling isn’t really good for any diesel without being able to idle it up. But when it’s cold out it’s a sacrifice I have to make for my work. The perfect solution for me would be a flash that turns off the auto shut down AND let’s me control the high idle. That’s a Cummins...

I wonder if there’s a solution for this. When it’s cold out like -30c I leave my truck running all day at work as I’m in and out all day.

Now I’m concerned as mine shut off a couple times idling…. I assumed it was just some new age tree hugger feature…. 🤔 now I wonder why it shut down! 😳

Got mine after only 1 fuel up so I’m not having a hard time remembering to put it back on as I’ve never had a capless vehicle haha so I might not lose it 🤷🏻‍♂️

Ya dipsticks have been disappearing on small cars for quite awhile now

Ya that is dumb I’ve seen that on a few vehicles now and the filter change looks like it’s the same as most vehicles pre-Allison external filter and drain plug. The tricky part looks to be filling and checking level although I think once a guys done it it will be pretty straight forward…...

I don’t know anything about it on our trucks but I’ve change trans oil and filter on many vehicles and it’s always been pretty simple…. Of course it wouldn’t surprise me if these are a whole new ball of complicated over-engineered wax haha

Ya if they aren’t ducted down into the grill or something they aren’t cold air intakes we shouldn’t call them that, it’s just a habit. I do think the smooth pipe/elbows are better than some stock intakes with the ribbed flex elbows. But factory air box’s have come a long way in the last decade...

Yeah who knows and yeah it’s not a huge difference for sure I’m running it in sport mode just because a couple other people here said they saw a little bit better fuel mileage. And so far nobody has contradicted it.
