Yeah I agree my 2011 Cummins they said when It came right down to it the factory airbox was so efficient the cold air intake made no difference 🤷🏻‍♂️

I just bought this truck and it came with it, it was a nice little bonus I can definitely hear the turbo a little bit sucking and whooshing… it’s the song of my people so I like that but I never drove it with the stock airbox to know what it sounded like.

I’m with you I always hand calculate if I really wanna know what I’m getting. I’m trying it in sport mode anyway so far what I’ve seen on here seems to be positive as far as fuel mileage goes.

Has anyone done any more sport mode testing? I spend all day driving around slow out on oilfield roads a lot of stopping and starting and I wonder if it would help my mileage with less lugging…. 🤔

Got a look at my new whip today finally and a little bonus under the hood is a cold air intake! I can cross that off the top of my list of things I can’t afford but probably can’t live without lol

Back in the day we ran low ash 2cycle oil as a lubricant fuel additive…. But I think I’m going to go with stanadyne in the new truck haha.
