    Adam’s ceramic coat

Update on the ceramic coating. Great stuff! Holding up way better than any polish or wax I've ever used. Winter will tell the true story.

Not feeling good about the PF66 filter

Not really. A bit disappointed. I'm good knowing I have better filtration but still.... On the plus side I'm really happy with the millage this thing gets. For a 6000 pound truck it's great. I haven't towed yet but so far my lifetime average is 27.4 (4900 miles). No EV in my future.

Yes. I already have the sample kit. Going to give it another few thousand miles and send it in.

Not feeling good about the PF66 filter

I'm a bit concerned about the filter being the low but I don't really have any other options. I'm thinking about putting a shield around it. As far as cleaning up the oil it has cleaned it up some but not as much as I had hoped. I did some research and found that particulate size is .5 to 2.5...

Not feeling good about the PF66 filter

The bypass filter is supposed to filter at 2 microns. We’ll see?

Not feeling good about the PF66 filter

I have only driven about 300 miles since installing the bypass. No significant difference. Hopefully more miles will yield a measurable improvement. I’ll keep you posted. Does anyone know what the particle size of the soot would be?

Not feeling good about the PF66 filter

No it runs back to the filter mount on the block just like the filter works.

Not feeling good about the PF66 filter

Bypass installed. Added roughly 2 quarts to the system. Everything seems good no leaks! Give it a few weeks and hopefully it will clean up the oil. I can supply the drawing and a 3D model if anyone wants it.

    Adam’s ceramic coat

https://adamspolishes.com/products/graphene-ceramic-coating%E2%84%A2?variant=32542356275297 No I used the one that you apply with an applicator an buff off. Much more permanent than sprays. Follow the directions it’s vital.

Not feeling good about the PF66 filter

Update: still waiting for the machine shop to make the new adapter. He had to order the 1”-16 tap which is not a standard size. That’s all he’s waiting on. More news later.

    Adam’s ceramic coat

So after roughly six weeks with the Adam’s ceramic coating I’m sold on it. After driving in rain it looks great. Still can’t believe how water beads up on it. It’s as good now as the day I did it.

Not feeling good about the PF66 filter

I designed a different block adapter for the system. I 3D printed it and haven’t had a chance to see if it works. It will be expensive to machine but I’m already in to it for 500$ so what’s a couple more.

Not feeling good about the PF66 filter

Not going to work. Not enough room for fittings and hose. I’m really bummed.
