    Faulty Radiator

Probably more a parts supplier issue. First we've heard of this one I think? Stuff happens.

    Time to fill up

Yeah but you don't have to go as often as the gassers :D

Roadmaster active suspension vs air bags

Airbags would be good for leveling with just a load in the bed however doesn't distribute the weight of a trailer when towing. Although this video is sponsored by a WDH company, it does show the difference between the two.

    Video on the LM2

The sheepdog (police) protects the sheep (people) for the farmer (government). Sheepdog was a reference brought up by a police survival trainer. I came up with that signature after all the criticism of police from both sides over the past few years...

The sheepdog thing in my signature is a reference to police

    Video on the LM2

Most info I already knew except for the Opel thing. He also mentions the Crank so start issue but doesn't say it's been fixed with an ECM update. And he didn't mention the rear main seal issue, which is a worse problem to worry about. Still an interesting watch.

Roadmaster active suspension vs air bags

I've pulled our 25ft 6500# trailer with a WD hitch and it's level. Pulls it very well and the engine braking works. This was on a short run in Oct though. This summer should be the real test. From what I've heard, it's better to have a WDH than bags. Sends more weight to the front for...

    Ordered 2022 Sierra Denali

Congrats! Now lets start the timer... Mine was ordered in April and arrived in Sept.

    Engine shut down timer

Mine too. Besides, who wants to idle an engine with these fuel prices?

    Transmission fluid change

Good find on RA. Oddly enough, they didn't list it under my specific truck but it's there. It's not available on Amazon.ca. Hopefully it will be available in gallons soon.

    Transmission fluid change

Dex VI is older than ULV. And I don't think even ULV is backward compatible. It was designed specifically for this tranny.

    Transmission fluid change

Is it actually licensed by GM as Dexron ULV compliant? Doubt it because it also lists in there Dexron VI, which is not ultra low viscosity (ULV) compliant. Wanna play russian roulette with your tranny? Pretty much the same deal as the DexosD engine oil. Oil makers can say anything on their...

Ford paying you not to have auto-start-stop

However, apparently, the starter and battery (AGM) have been beefed just for this system. Good. It will last even longer if it's not being used.

    DEF, Platinum DEF?

That should be fine. It would be like using 91 octane gas when the pumps are out of 87.

Ford paying you not to have auto-start-stop

Actual data? No. These engines are so new that there is no data but logic dictates that stop/start cycles just adds no oil pressure startups and it has been proven in the past on standard engines that startups cause the most wear. I tried with and without it and did not see any improved fuel...

    Transmission fluid change

Of course they will and for an extra charge, even refill your headlight fluid and rotate your brakes

    Transmission fluid change

That's been common for a while now. My '11 Caprice PPV with the 6L80E tranny doesn't have one. Anybody try to find the fluid for our 10 speeds? It's not the regular Dexron VI. It uses Dexron ULV. How much they sell this stuff for? And of course it'll be 3x the price in Canada like the oil...

Ford paying you not to have auto-start-stop

We're talking about the Automatic stop/start system which stops the engine each time you stop at a traffic light or a stop sign. Absolutely the most useless and wear inducing system ever created.
