Agreed. Not a fan of chrome myself. That's why I got the Elevation trim.

    NOX sensor @ 56k miles

Won't the code still be logged? Plus, the dealer confirmed the code so while they may not replace it right now, at least they'll have a record of it.

    Duramax running temp.

Those temps are too low. The OPs temps are normal for the LZO.

    New Regen Record

I think part of the answer is my driving habits have changed since I bought it. When purchased, I was working at home (for over 7 years) and wasn't putting that many miles on it with a lot of in-town driving. Fast forward to back in the office mandate, I now drive a 90-mile daily RT commute.

    New Regen Record

My regen intervals have been steadily decreasing over time. When newer, I saw a regen in as little as 189 miles. Now they're regularly over 400 miles and recently set a personal best of 500 miles. Granted, it was during a road trip to Spokane over the holidays. It just performed another regen at...

    3.0 Diesels

I'm at 28,500 miles so far, I love it. No issues and love the 30 mpg I consistently get on each tank.

    Rattling to pieces

Seems to be plenty of complaints about heat shield rattle out there but little in the way to resolve the issue (aside of actual removal). Personally, I would not remove it since it's there to protect other components. A quick search found some information. It depends on the actual cause. If it...

    Any Super Cruise owners here?

I don't see myself ever using it if I had it. I believe the driver should be in 100% control of the vehicle at all times. I had it in a previous vehicle and it nearly drove itself off the freeway. My son has an F-150 Powerboost that has it and he likes it. Myself, I'd rather worry about the road...

GM Investigating Occasional Duramax Diesel LZ0 Engine Misfires

    EDGE INSIGHT CTS3

I'm using one and it works fine. No issues. The only thing I notice is when I remote start the truck, it doesn't come on until I touch the screen, but it stays on.

    3.0L failure

I drive about 85 miles roundtrip daily for my commute 5 days a week. I don't see myself ever moving up to a 2500 or 3500. Been there done that. I have the best of both worlds now. I have a truck, and it gets reasonably good fuel mileage. Although we're not campers, it's our road trip vehicle.

The answer to your question is maybe. I would be concerned with rubbing.

    Who changes your oil?

$299 for an oil change? Geez, mine charges $175 and I think that is too high.

    3.0 Duramax no regen

Is your truck ignition in the on position or running when trying to set up? There are plenty of online videos that walk thru the set up.
