Changed my fuel filter for the first time yesterday. Display said 29% but I didn’t want to go any longer with it. Nothing to it really. I bought a GM filter from Rock Auto. They had the best price $27.00 plus tax and shipping. Priming the system worked without a hitch.

Drained the catch can today. It had roughly 3 or 4 ounces of milky looking oil/water in it. I guess it’s working! I need to run a longer hose down under the truck to make draining it easier.

Probably not but I could share the drawing file with you and you could see what local shops would charge.

A friend of mine owns a machine shop so it only cost me $70 for the aluminum and $27 for the special tap. I would think most machine shops would charge $250 to $350 to machine.

I haven’t done much towing yet but when I have it does regen more often. That said I’ve only filled my def tank once in 18k miles. I will need to fill soon as I’m down to 32% full. Planning on inspecting the injector to see how it looks.

This is my normal week to week local driving. I recently ran two tanks without any additive and my mileage was almost 2 mpg less. I’ve been using the Hot Shot Secrets.

Catch can installed. No easy task but don’t rush it I did buy a pair of clamp pliers which worked well. Everything is a tight fit. I took the two fittings off the catch can which made it easier to install. Hose clamps are a pain but I used the supplied ones.

Finally towed my boat for the first time. I’m pleased with how well my Yukon handled it. Total weight is about 5200 pounds. Tongue weight is at 700 pounds. 770 is the max for the Yukon XL. Definitely getting a weight distributing hitch.
