You mean biodiesel? Not sure I'd want to run that in a modern diesel. Maybe if it's being sold by a gas station it's extremely well filtered and regulated? What's the cost? I've never heard of it coming from a gas station vs refining it yourself.

I only did it because when the DPF hits 140% it requires you to do a forced regen. You're supposed to take it in to the dealer at that point, but I had a road trip the following day and access to scan tools to force it anyways. You never want to have to do it. Add a metric for exhaust temp and watch how high it goes during a regen. I did a forced, stationary regen once with a scan tool and the exhaust could easily burn you if you were near the outlet.
