I am unsure if this was due to the two water pump system in these trucks, but yeah I hope they take a look at the amount of issues related to it and do a refresh to the part while recalling the old insufficient parts...
I hope they improve this valve as so many have an issue. I am still waiting for my part to come but if I need to replace it every 3 years or 70k that is BS.
The real issue is the height of socket part of the plug, it is very short. I had mine replaced once with another OEM plug but now have an aftermarket plug with a taller socket on the plug.
E85is 70% efficient to straight gasoline and is never ever 70% cost so the loss is crazy as you pay more for less plus the energy use to refine it. Ethanol needs to just go away.
Biodisel and ethanol also terrible uses of crops. Better used to feed things, not diminish use of the energy in fossil fuels. Alcohol helps to race, not get a vehicle down the road economically plus the added energy to make a lower MPG fuel is just insanity.
got it two weeks ago. had the issue every month since I bought the truck. So if it doesn't happen by December I will assume it is fixed. It seems to pause on crank (may be the cooler weather, i dunno) and cranks faster maybe now. All i have seen so far.

Have had this happen 2x times now on my 2021 Sierra. Sounds like a machine gun going for 10 ish seconds after trying to start it then it powers off and fires up on next start. Goes into dealer this Friday. Initially thought was starter noise but could be the crank. Happened 6/10/21 and 7/26/21...
