I’m paralyzed and I bought a 22 GMC Sierra elevation package with the 3.0l duramax. I included a pic of the new one and my old one these are converted so I can drive from my chair from ATC conversions in ft. Wayne, Indiana. The guy there put 17 gallons of gasoline in my brand new truck and drove away from the pump and it died then was towed to the dealership where they drained and flushed. I haven’t even seen yet. I’m 105,000$ into it at this point and am nervous about accepting it after they put gasoline in it it was 56$ for the truck and 49$ for the conversion. Can I feel confident that I’m not buying a damaged vehicle?

What does the dealer say? I would think if there are going to be problems, it will be right away, while under warranty.

I will say this, I've been around trucks after this has happen and never had any issues after the fact.. but, with this being a brand new truck it's a tough spot. If the conversion company can offer some kind of assurance (I'm not sure how that would even look) it would make me feel better about it. Either way, that's a very nice truck and if you work this out, you will love it. Keep us updated here!

Also, welcome to the site, we're glad to have you!

I would say this company is now on the hook (due to their incompetent employee) for any future engine related issues that may develop over time. I would be talking to a lawyer at this point and getting some sort of agreement in writing worked out. I wouldn’t settle for anything less personally.
