Hello all this is my 15th Chevy truck and 4th diesel, 1994 6.5 3500, 2019 6.6 3500, 2020 6.6 3500. Until I tried to purchase a new 2024 3.0 with the max tow package, I did not realize how rare they are let alone find one at a dealership. On 10/2/23 I used the GM inventory tool and found one 100 miles from home with the Max tow package. It was the only one with in 500 miles. I went down on 10/3 negotiated a good price and purchased the truck. When finishing the paper work I mentioned how hard it was to find a 3.0 and max tow. The reply was the only reason the truck I bought was available is it was refused by the person that special ordered it in June of 2022. It did not have the tech package and multifunction tailgate, he also stated the truck was delivered 2 days prior to me buying it. I was also told you can not order a 3.0 with the Max tow package again from GM. So far I really like the MPG and performance of this truck.
