2020 Chevy 1500 Duramax
Welcome. It is very common. Heater is non-replacable and with the cold temps and full def tanks frozen, the heaters have to run longer, burning the connectors. Def tanks will be caught up for next winter and we will then be waiting on them again at the end of next winter!- gemarsh

Drain plug is trash
