3.0 DEF usage?

How many miles are people going before seeing the DEF gauge on the dash starting to move down off of full (not towing)?? Tx

I average a full tank of DEF every 6000 miles or so. Note, that's standard driving with no towing.

It seems to take forever to show a drop on the gauge when it's filled. For awhile after first owning my truck I thought, something was wrong. But that proved incorrect.

If you ever think the gauge is broken, hook up to a trailer and it goes down real quick

Woo hoo, 3200 kms and the DEF bar finally moved 1 notch. Lol
I guess it does work...

It does! I have noticed it will drop faster once you get down below 1/2 tank for some reason.. not sure if it's sensor scaling or what.

Maybe the shape of the tank. I remember some cars had a smaller lower half gas tank or some trucks had smaller upper part. It would go faster going through the smaller portion.
