I apologize if this is a redundant question however I have a 2020 Chev 1500 that purchased used and I have put 5,000-6,000 miles on it primarily short tripping although my son pulled a camper 600-700 miles round trip recently from DFW area to OK. I haven't noticed a regen since I purchased the truck and he said he didn't either on the long highway trip. I read that you can't do a manual regen on the 3.0. Should I have experienced a regen by now? Does the display indicate that you're in regen?

The biggest reason for my concern is from owning a 2013 Duramax 3500 and it stopped doing regens and the DPF got completely clogged. The dealership had to do six forced regens to clear the DPF. I don't want to be complacent and get into that situation again. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Welcome.

That's the nice thing about the regen, you won't know it's active. gm doesn't give us a light or any other indicator to know.

Only way to know would be watching the fuel mileage on the dic or a aftermarket monitor.

Thanks. I feel a little more confident.

If you are still concerned about the regens, you can always get a Banks or Edge monitor, and it will tell you the status of your DPF filter (soot level) and when regen is active. I use the Edge Insight CTS.

Does the IDASH allow the ability to have more than one screen, I want the ability to monitor about 10PID"s that are important to me, from what I can tell I would need to buy a second IDASH, or does it allow you to have 2 or more "screens" or pages to provide more gauges.
EDGE CTS 3 isn't supported yet, I've been fighting it on mine. Thinking about trying my SCANGAUGE 2 while waiting for them to update the software for the EDGE. One of the tech support people at EDGE told me that the baby DURAMAX was sketchy, some work, some don't, and some kind of work, mine constantly goes to sleep after a few seconds.

Mine doesn't stay on long enough to select the PID's I want.
Is your truck ignition in the on position or running when trying to set up? There are plenty of online videos that walk thru the set up.
