Duramax passing power

Someone told me the Duramax 3.0 lacks a little power when passing a vehicle on the highway. Can any of you share any thoughts on this? Thanks

The 3.0 is no slouch, it's torque is at the bottom end of the band. So if your doing 70mph, yes, it doesn't have the pep of a V8 to pass someone, trying to get to 90mpg to get it done before a no pass zone.

It's no corvette, but its also no chevette.

I find no issues passing cars.. I normally travel 55 even 65MPH two lane roads and no issues.
