LZ0 Diesel Mileage

What is the mileage you guys get from the latest trucks with LZ0 engine? My truck just drove around 1200 miles and came up with a mileage of 25 mpg. Mostly highways. Little disappointed but will watch.
 
So many variables with fuel mileage.. If you're getting 25 that's acceptable in my opinion. As always, your results may vary.
 
I drive I95 between DC and Ashland at or below the speed limit. I normally get 30.5 if no traffic. Best was 36 (clear traffic) and worst was 26 (much stop and go). The Denali is almost a year old but only about 3800 miles on the odometer.
 
Daily commute I average around 27-28, but a lot of the times I am doing 75-80mph. I get a little higher in heavier traffic where speeds are less than 70mph. I just moved my, ~4000lb, boat around 200 miles and averaged 15.5

My GM Colleagues have gotten around 35 to 40 mpg but I am nowhere near. Not even on highways.. Does having a Chevy Silverado High Country make a difference in mileage? I think not.
 
I'm getting 31.7 on my last trip both highway and some city.
Have less than 7k on the truck, so hopefully it's gets better.
 
The only true way to calculate accurate MPG is miles driven divided by gallons used. The various dash readouts are good for providing a general sense of efficiency. I track my mpg on every tank religiously by using the Fuelly app to track trends and to also make notes of driving conditions I encountered.

One thing I've noticed recently is how temperature can affect fuel efficiency. One day last week, I started the truck when it was 32F. I let it idle for about 20-30 seconds and started driving, making sure to not go above 1500 rpms for the first 4-5 miles. What was interesting to note is that until the transmission temperature reached 185F, it would say in 9th gear, even at 60 mph. It took about 25 miles of driving to reach normal temperature.

Agree.. It's usually pretty close most of the time. But the manual way never lies! I use fuelly as well.. works good and give you a good sense of mileage over time.
 
I also manually check mpg after every fill up. I was pleasantly surprised that the on-board computer is pretty accurate. Usually, 2-5 tenths lower than actual, I have 45k miles
 
We average 27 to 29 @75 mph and 30 to 33 @70 mph. Best average is 40.4 @58 mph. All flat terrian in north Louisiana. This is a 2023 LTZ.
