Need help on oil consumption issue

I have a 2021 half ton Duramax.
I had an oil consumption test done and according to dealer, the truck used 1 quart in 2000 miles. Dealer says this is within acceptable limits and will not do anything about it. When oil is off the stick I have ALWAYS put in 1 quart to get back to normal level. 3 times to dealer with nothing on the stick and they say 1/2 quart low each time.
Anywhere I can get help on this?

Welcome. Any chance you could use a different dealer? GMC, Chevy, Cadillac? It doesn't matter, they will all work on them.

You could also have them look at Bulletin 22-NA-027 and see if your camshaft cover serial number falls into a bad design.

See attached bulletin. You could inspect it yourself.

Welcome.. You could also open a case with GM to help put eyes on the issue. Never hurts.
