I just purchased a 2022 Silverado Z71 with the 3.0 Duramax. I traded in a 2011 Ram 2500 6.7 Cummins. I will never talk bad about that truck because it drove me 225,000 miles with no issues. I will say that I am truly in Ahh of how the 3.0 Duramax runs. I only pull a bass boat and a 16 ft trailer so I didn't need the 3/4 ton anymore. I see some people having issues with their 3.0 and I hope I am one of the lucky ones that doesn't have any issues.
I hope to read a see some good ideas and modifications in theseForums.

Welcome!

I take the one off posters that seem to come on forums just to write long convoluted sob stories about how bad their new trucks are with a grain of salt. They are just usually just one or even a few posts and they're gone. I'm sure there are a few that have issues, but I don't believe most (if any) of the one off posts.

Like you, I love how my truck runs and especially the fuel mileage. In the summer, I can get get consistent 30+ mpg. It's a little less now that winter weather has set in but still a lot better than the 17-18 mpg my previous F-150 got.
