I guess OnStar is dying and trying to keep it afloat or it's just pure greed. I just received an email from my dealer wanting me to trade in my 2021 Sierra for a new one which is supposedly cheaper. If it includes this crap, they can kiss my ass while I'm walking out the door.
I know Toyota tried this subscription BS with remote start and backpedaled real fast. So far, the backlash has been steady online even from diehard GM fans. Let's see how long before they drop this.
