Hello - I have a Chevy Silverado 1500 3.0L Eco-Diesel and for about a year now the check engine light has been going on and off, its now on permanently and we have had it checked out at dealerships and mechanic shops and the result is what I feared - the timing chain needs to be replaced and its apparently a whole ordeal. I am looking for recommendations of anyone in the UTAH, preferably Northern Utah, area that could do the repair. Trying to avoid dealerships if possible given the increased costs but Ill take what I can get. I have done quite a bit of research on who can do the repair and many who I have talked to cant because they either only work on the big rig diesels, or the ordeal of this fix involves removing the engine or the cab and they cant do it... Anyone have any experience with this and know anyone who could do this work that they would recommend? Thanks
