My 2020 Elevation has 112,000 miles and has developed what I would call a shudder. While driving 55mph at 1,000rpm & you step on throttle or start up a slight incline you feel a shudder. My opinion is for some reason it's hesitating on down shiffting to adjust vehicle speed & shudders for a couple seconds before downshifting. Has anyone experienced this? I bought this truck used with 52,000 miles on it. The transmission according to vehicle service history did not have the transmission oil replaced at 50,000 miles. I took the truck in to have the transmission oil changed. The dealer argued with me & said they recommended against it & that I would induce transmission problems. I insisted on the transmission oil change. I never ever heard of not changing the transmission oil or being recommended to not change the transmission oil. The recent code that just showed up is cylinder #5 glow plug failure. Any ides what is causing the shudder? Should I be concerned about the shudder or lag in downshifting? Thanks
