Received message today 171 miles until speed reduced to 65mph with 5,395 miles on my 2021 GMC Sierra Denali 3.0 Diesel.

If these warnings are ignored and driving continues, maximum speed will be limited further when each of the following counters reaches zero. • 500 Miles to 65 mph Max Speed • 75 Miles to 55 mph Max Speed • 75 Miles to 5 mph Max Speed

Received message today 171 miles until speed reduced to 65mph with 5,395 miles on my 2021 GMC Sierra Denali 3.0 Diesel.

This nice to know because I plan on running out the old DEF fluid before adding any more. If the DEF low warnings are ignored and the DEF tank becomes empty, the DIC will display messages that describe the action needed and distance until vehicle speed is limited. For the DEF warning light...

New TSB Issued For Duramax 3.0L LM2 and 6.6L LP5 Diesel P206B, Emission & Exhaust Fluid Errors

Not sure, my truck has had two updates over the air and don't have a clue what they were. So I guess when I do my next oil change I'll ask about the over the air updates and what they include and let your know.

New TSB Issued For Duramax 3.0L LM2 and 6.6L LP5 Diesel P206B, Emission & Exhaust Fluid Errors

Not sure if I've had the CNS update done, however over the internet my truck has down loaded some updates that I'm unaware of what they were. I've never had the long crank no start with my truck as of today also.

New TSB Issued For Duramax 3.0L LM2 and 6.6L LP5 Diesel P206B, Emission & Exhaust Fluid Errors

I haven't seen this TSB before. If anyone can post the link to this bulletin it would be appreciated. General Motors is addressing an issue that may cause check engine lights on 2020/2021 Diesel Silverado and Sierra pickups. Both 3.0L and 6.6L Diesel Duramax engines could have an error...

BREAKING: New LZ0 Duramax Engine for 2023 GM Trucks

I agree they both seem to be the same, however the MHT and MHS are also 10 speed electronic controlled and not designated for the LZ0 . So it appears there is a difference between the 10 speed electronic controlled transmissions when you order either the diesel option or gasoline engines.

BREAKING: New LZ0 Duramax Engine for 2023 GM Trucks

No specs on horsepower or torque, however there is a different transmission specifically for the new LZ0 diesel.

BREAKING: New LZ0 Duramax Engine for 2023 GM Trucks

Interesting read about the new LZ0 duramax: Source: https://tfltruck.com/2022/04/is-the-all-new-2023-chevy-silverado-zr2-bison-all-but-officially-confirmed-also-new-3-0l-duramax-i6-diesel-is-official-for-2023/

BREAKING: New LZ0 Duramax Engine for 2023 GM Trucks

Will be interesting to see what changes are incorporated in the LZ0. I'll bet it will won't have the belt that needs to be inspected at 150,000 miles and maybe going to gears versus chain drive on the motor also.

Extended crank but no start issue

I anticipate gas and diesel will go over $5.00 per gallon in the next month or two and glad I'm getting 23 mpg average. There will be more people looking to buy diesels for the mpg.

    Regeneration-Exhaust

I looked at my book for what is covered by warranty and found this also. Federal Emission Warranty Coverage . For Passenger Car or Light Duty Truck with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 8,500 lbs. or less ‐ 2 years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first for Emissions related parts

Received message today 171 miles until speed reduced to 65mph with 5,395 miles on my 2021 GMC Sierra Denali 3.0 Diesel.

Dealer service said DTC code P10DC and P20BE is what they found which is related to the DEF tank heater. An hour after they had it in the shop the service rep said they'd have to remove the DEF tank to find out why they aren't getting a signal to the DEF tank. Preformed diagnosis and found DEF...

Thanks it will be several weeks before I'm able to get to the dealership but will posted on what they determine is the problem.

Received message today 171 miles until speed reduced to 65mph with 5,395 miles on my 2021 GMC Sierra Denali 3.0 Diesel.

I drove approximately 10 miles around 65mph after the message came on and the message went out after a few miles on the highway. Got home I now have a yellow engine symbol in the lower right corner of my instrument cluster staying on. When the message came on I couldn't change to the screen...

    3.0 = 30+ days in shop

Seems odd that GM can get parts for the 5.3 and 6.2 motors and not the 3.0 Duramax. Ram is still manufacturing their small diesel for 1/2 ton trucks and haven't discontinued manufacturing them, wonder how they are able to get parts?

Extended crank but no start issue

My neighbor has a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado and the dealership told him that when he brings it in for its first oil change they'll reflash his ecm. Curious if this is going to be a fix for ecns versus installing camshaft position sensor shim.
