Does everyone else’s doors rattle like crazy when you hit bumps? I’ve never had a truck that rattled this much, especially new! I’ve had 25 year old, 350k mile dodge Cummins that the doors sagged on but didn’t make a bit of noise when they closed. I love the pep and excellent fuel economy of...
I’m not sure which update they did, this was the first update since buying the truck, April 21. Buttons wouldn’t work again this morning on the way in to work but worked fine on the way home.
Had an update done about 2 weeks ago and ever sense, the song skip buttons on the back of the steering wheel only work half time. Anyone else seen this? Ive really never seen anything good from a dealer update
Unless you have a trailer hooked up every day, you will ruin the plush ride of the half ton with bags. If you need something for towing occasionally and still want your nice ride, go with a set of Timbren’s
You have to pull the shifter all the way down to 1 or L, whichever it is, to be able to manually shift with the +/-. It just locks out any gears above the number you put it on
My 21 Silverado seems the same way but been like that since new. I think they just have very limited travel. Not very smooth riding trucks, unless the road is like glass
On my last 6.7 dodge Cummins, the exhaust brake was weak when I bought the truck but after deleting it, the tuner must have changed the exhaust brake too because it worked like a champ. Would be nice if gm would release an update that would make it actually work
Nope, that’s what gm refers to as the brake. I’m not sure why they even called them exhaust brakes, because it does nothing more than any gas truck I’ve ever driven. I’ve had multiple dodge Cummins with real exhaust brakes and this 3.0’s is a joke
Well at 38k I finally had a flat I had to change so instead of buying a single new general, I ordered a new set of Mickey Thompson Baja Boss a/t. They are a very aggressive a/t and look really nice. I can barely hear the lugs at low speed and just a faint hint of them at hwy speeds. They have a...
S&B offers dry filters, so they may have what you need. I would definitely switch, I don’t trust the oiled filters. On another note, are you able to hear the turbo with that setup?
I’ve had those Cooper’s on a truck I used on the mail route and they were a great tire too. As long as it’s not a noticeable mpg loss, I’ll go with an A/T tire
