21 it worked first try...never had any issues yet..had it a month now.What year truck ? I've got a 21 and couldn't get it to work for me then the truck wouldn't start had to disconnect the battery and do a hard reset
Toolmanbob: do you need an OnStar subscription for the OBD Genie or does it just work once installed with no monthly payments to anyone?I have the Obdgenie..it works great for me..
I've always found built-in Nav to be outdated and not as useful as the online options. And it's usually expensive to keep updated or paying the subscription while others are free.
Your friend is wise. I carry one also. Damn electronic maps don't show rest stops. As a coffee consumer and over 50, I need to know where they are, on interstates. State patrol don't like it when you pull under a overpass to piss.it is all relative my best friend has a Navigation system 1.0
